Our PC
servicing is extensive with some several thousand hardware related
requests on record. Of the systems that we have sold less than 0.03%
have had hardware issues and 100% have been covered by warranties.
We have serviced entire networks of PC’s 200-300 at times down
to the individual users, small business and home PC’s. On servicing,
our reports are detailed, providing a thorough breakdown of activities
in plain English. These records are kept permanently, creating a history
that can be referenced should it be necessary. Our customers are impressed
by our personal knowledge of their business and systems and the service
record is pivotal in the recommendation for future preventative
maintenance. Options for support cover a wide spectrum of service
tiers from simple one-off repairs to Maintenance Contracts and Service
Level Agreements.

Parts
We supply
replacement parts with industry standard high warranties. The components
are selected from a series of vendors that must demonstrate their
commitment to quality, preferably with ISO qualifications and must
have a proven track record in the business. Overheads are minimal
and the subsequent advantages are passed directly to the customer.

and Consulting
For our
customers we are available both on landline and cellphone. We have
pagers for the more important clients who demand 24/7 support and
for those clients that simply need occasional support we have email
and web access. We believe that our support is fully complementary
to our products and without one, the other will simply not create
a viable business.
Often,
businesses cannot afford a fulltime ICT employee. We offer our consulting
skills to compliment your business, allowing you to focus on what
you know best. We actually prefer NOT to work in a business fulltime,
rather we consult, recommend paths and propose strategies that can

General
PC Tune-ups and Reporting
Over
time a PC’s performance will generally degrade. The registry
gets larger and full of redundant information, the drive fills up
and fragments and the file structure may become damaged. All these
issues combine to slow to performance of your once speedy investment
to a crawl. Like a car WOF, we recommend that the PC be fine tuned
every 6 months. This tune-up does two things. First, it speeds the
system up and secondly, it allows for the assessment of your investment
and the recommendation of any changes that need to be made –
like more memory, larger drive, processor change etc.

Swap-A-Box
System Replacements
In the
lifecycle of the PC, there will often come a time to upgrade more
components than is worthwhile. This is the time for a Trade-In or
Swap-A-Box solution. The monitor and printer have a longer replacement
cycle than a PC, so we recommend this solution when you need a “new”
computer but don’t want to replace the entire system. You keep
the peripherals, mouse, keyboard screen and printer and we supply
you a new PC or new internals depending on your individual requirements.
Your investment is protected, the outlay is far less and you have
the advantages of a new system. Simple really!

is one of the PC’s greatest strengths. The ability to send electronic
mail to anyone who has the facilities to receive, throughout the world,
or to use the internet for anything from research to games has brought
the PC into the home of just about anyone. One of our missions is
to ensure that everyone has access to this tool and is able to feel
part of the global network. We set up email and internet, using your
choice of provider, or one of ours and ensure you know how to use
it.

Antivirus
& Security Solutions
One of
the biggest headaches for PC users is the virus. Coupled with Worms,
Trojans and Hackers your investment is open to attacks from various
sources the moment that you attach to the Internet. Our 3 fold approach
to this is simple.
Firstly,
all our new systems have current antivirus software AND up-to-date
signature files. Without the signature files, the PC becomes increasingly
vulnerable as time progress, until the software protecting the system
becomes useless. We put this at between 1-2 months. Signature files
more than 3 months out of date provide little protection against new
viruses.
Secondly,
we provide firewall software that prevents unauthorised accesses via
a local network or the internet. Simply put, people cant hack your
investment from the outside. In addition we recommend the use of Anti-spyware
software. You don’t leave your house keys for people to help
themselves to your fridge contents – PC’s deserve the
same respect and this software removes the spyware that you may have
on your system that secretly tells others on the internet about your
PC activities.
Finally
we recommend backups. Even the best protected PC’s fail. Although
hardware can be replaced, years of data, often proprietary and essential
to business can be lost. A simple backup procedure can prevent years
of lost work.

Charge
Rates
Our charge
rates for core competencies have been static for some 3 years now
at $60/hr, minimum 1hr, charged thereafter in 15 min intervals. Often
a PC will need to be removed for a time and if the client requires
it, a “Courtesy” PC is provided, allowing them to function
whilst their investment is repaired.
For consulting,
protracted contracts or work that is not covered above, our rates
are negotiable, tailored to suit the customer.
